50 Cent is Not a Fan of Face Tattoos
50 Cent cautions artists who decide to get tattoos on their faces.
With face tattoos becoming a growing trend in rap, Vibe magazine asked 50 Cent his thoughts on the phenomenon.
The rapper noted that permanent designs on your face confirm that “there’s not a possibility that you can walk into a legitimate establishment without makeup covering your face everyday.”
What’s his advice for tattoo-faced rappers like Gucci Mane?
50 says: “Talk to the best [rappers] and they will tell you that it will take more than you being an artist. It takes marketing, maneuvering to generate for that long. When you got 40-year-old rappers in the game, those guys have maneuvered and survived.”
