Two Suspects Arrested in Texas Southern Shooting
Two people have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting outside student housing on the Texas Southern University campus Friday, according to the Houston Police. A manhunt is still on for a third suspect.
The HBCU, near downtown Houston, went into lockdown just after the 11:30 a.m. shooting until about 2:30 p.m. There was one fatality and one person wounded in the assault. The identities of the victim or the suspects have not been released.
The Texas Southern shooting was the third one in less than two weeks on a college campus. Northern Arizona University was attacked on Thursday, and eight days ago a gunman opened fire at Umpqua Community College in Oregon.
