Katt Williams’ Nashville Comedy Show Evacuated After Bomb Threat

The comedian’s performance ended "abruptly" and he exited the stage.

Comedian Katt Williams “abruptly” ended his show 10 minutes early Saturday night because the venue received a bomb threat while he was performing, the Nashville Municipal Auditorium stated.

“Williams made the decision not to notify attendees of the bomb scare to avoid panic and possible injury. The building was successfully cleared by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department without incident,” the statement said.

The bomb threat came by phone at 10:36 p.m. from an out-of-state number, CNN reported, citing information from a Nashville police source. The venue’s staff decided to clear the facility. Investigators did not find an explosive device in the area.
