Kid Ink Addresses Las Vegas Arrest

Rapper was charged with disturbing the peace following nightclub incident.

Better late than never was the motto for Kid Ink, who took the stage at the Uforia Festival in Los Angeles an hour after his scheduled slot following his Friday night arrest in Las Vegas for disturbing the peace. The rapper spoke out about his ordeal at the event, telling Billboard.com, “It’s all good. I’m just looking forward to taking my tour overseas in the next few days.”
Kid Ink was nabbed by cops after a scuffle broke out around 2 a.m. following his appearance at hotspot 1OAK. After spending a day in police custody, he finally made it to his gig in Southern California. “L.A. you’ll never believe the day I had, but I’m here!! #UforiaFestival I’m on in 15 minutes. Better late than never!!” he tweeted.
“I knew I would be there because I wanted to be there,” the SoCal native later added. “I know what it’s like to have an artist not show up and I didn’t want to disappoint my fans.”
It seems his legal problems are behind him as he is scheduled to go on a four-month tour overseas, starting in Australia next week and then Europe.
