Migos Affiliate Rich The Kid Released From Jail
The Migos crew is slowly getting back to its full form again.
Back in April, Migos and Quality Control labelmate Rich The Kid were arrested on the campus of Georgia Southern University just moments before their performance at Hanner Field House. According to the Bulloch Country Sheriff’s Office, police detected potent smells of marijuana coming from Migos’s tour buses. After they investigated their vehicles, they discovered more drugs and multiple firearms.
Since then, Quavo and Takeoff both were released from jail after posting bond. However, OffSet was denied bond twice because of his criminal history. His behavior hasn’t made things easier for him either, as he reportedly cursed out the judge or the district attorney upon received the news he was denied bond. Another incident, in which he was involved in a fight with another inmate, may have also hurt his chances of reuniting with his fellow Migos members.
However, Rich The Kid looks like he’s ready to get back to work. He posted on social media that he’s officially free.
According to a tweet by DJ Akademiks, he was released on bail, but OffSet is still in custody.
Migos are preparing to release their debut album, Yung Rich Nation, on July 31.
