Bobby Brown Checks Into Rehab
Bobby Brown has openly dealt with alcohol and drug abuse for years. After much struggle, the former New Edition singer has admitted himself to rehab to tackle his alcohol addiction, according to TMZ.
A source close to the singer told the celebrity gossip site that Brown realized "he couldn’t do it on his own" and "decided that he needed help and wants to make the best out of the rest of his life for his children’s sake."
After the passing of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, the popular crooner was arrested for a DUI in March. He has been accused of introducing his famous love to the drug-filled lifestyle, which ultimately led to her death. The 43-year-old entertainer has refuted the claims repeatedly, saying he did not introduce Whitney to narcotics, and didn’t even know she was still struggling with it.
In June, Brown re-married to wife, Alicia Etheridge, who is supporting her husband in rehabilitation.
