Kanye West Serves Community Service at Fashion School

The rapper's visit was part of plea deal in battery case.

Kanye West may be the quintessential college dropout, but the rapper and fashion designer found himself back in the classroom on Monday (June 23).
West spent three hours with students at L.A. Trade Technical College, where he talked about his own experiences in the fashion world, according to TMZ. The school specializes in designing apparel.
The visit was part of the plea deal reached in the rapper’s July 2013 battery case. Earlier this year, he was sentenced to 250 hours community service and 24 months of informal probation for attacking a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport.

Monday marked Yeezy’s third visit to the school in six weeks, and he's also been speaking at several other colleges. Just days before, he and wife Kim Kardashian rang in daughter North’s first birthday with a music festival-themed bash for the ages.
