Pharrell's Deposition Video From Marvin Gaye Lawsuit Revealed

"I'm not comfortable with this," he said.

Tape has been released of Pharrell's deposition in the "Blurred Lines" lawsuit brought on — and won by — Marvin Gaye's family, and it's the funniest thing you will see all day.
The prolific singer and producer, accused of stealing from the soul icon for Robin Thicke's 2012 massive hit, didn't try to hide his annoyance at having to spend his time answering questions.

7 REASONS THE 'BLURRED LINES' VERDICT SHOULD HAVE EVERYONE SPOOKED

Asked, for example, which chords are used in bluegrass songs, he replied, "I'm not a teacher." And when Richard Busch, a lawyer for Gaye's family, continued to probe him on his knowledge of music structure, Williams replied, "I'm not here to teach you music." When asked to name two musical notes and their duration, he replied, "I'm not comfortable with this ... I can't answer you at this time."

Pharrell did not receive a formal music education.
