Porsha Williams Finally Confirms Some Huge News
After it was speculated that Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is expecting her first child, the reality starlet recently did an exclusive interview confirming the news.
While doing so, she shared a few intimate details about the process which many may be shocked to learn.
Speaking with People, Williams confirmed that she is having her first child with boyfriend Dennis McKinley.
She shared with the publication that while she is ecstatic about the major news, she has a few reservations, given her history.
"When I found out I was pregnant, I was excited [but] I had mixed feelings. The other feeling that I had beside excitement was fear," she said before detailing a miscarriage she suffered, six years ago.
After expounding a bit on her past experience with losing a child, she mentioned a few more health complications she suffers from, which further peaked her anxiety upon learning the news.
"I suffer from fibroids and had to have a myomectomy," she added. "So, just the fear of, 'Is the baby going to be okay? Will I make it full term?' All those questions that you ask if you've had a miscarriage before."
Speaking of the father of her unborn child, she seemed to light up, sharing that she feels lucky to have someone so supportive by her side throughout this process.
"The thought of me getting that blessing after praying for it for so long and getting that blessing with someone who is just as excited as me — it's Dennis' first child, just like me — and it's something we've both always wanted," she said. "It's like a dream come true... I believe he's probably shed more tears during the process than me."
While she shared that "the pregnancy came from the left," she did stress that it has brought her and her beau "close together."
We wish the couple all the best on this journey to becoming first-time parents.
