Game Ordered to Stand Trial for Two Separate Altercations
Somebody needs anger management classes.
Game has been ordered to stand trial for two separate altercations, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge. M.L. Villar ordered in court Tuesday. Judge Villar found sufficient evidence in cases involving Game clocking an undercover cop and attacking a videographer, earlier in the year.
Both incidents occurred within weeks of each other. Game punched Onyebuchi Awaji during a charity basketball game in late March, for which he faces a felony count of criminal threats alongside misdemeanor assault and battery.
The second run-in involves a man hired to film Game receiving court documents from a process server that Awaji hired. Justin Willard says Game beat him up, stole his camera, and threatened him. He will stand trial on a felony count of second-degree robbery and one misdemeanor count of making criminal threats for the Willard altercation.
Court wasn’t a complete loss for the rapper, TMZ reports. One of his felony criminal threats charges was downgraded to a misdemeanor, and the other was dropped.
Game said before that he expects to serve jail time for punching Awaji. His next court date is Dec. 21.
