Jennifer Hudson Might Snag Daytime Talk Show Just In Time Fall 2022

The show is currently being shopped around.

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson might be coming to daytime TV with a new syndicated talk show.

According to Deadline, the project is currently being pitched to major television station groups eyeing a potential fall 2022 launch. And is looked to be as a successor of Warner Bros. longtime hit The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which is currently in its final season.

Yet, the new Jennifer Hudson talk show is reportedly coming in at a rough time in the syndication business with several other talk shows already on air including, Tamron Hall, The Kelly Clarkson Show and The Drew Barrymore Show.

Deadline notes that there could be a unique angle to Hudson coming to daytime talk shows with two American Idol alums (Kelly Clarkson) on separate platforms, back-to-back.

While it is all unclear if fans will see J Hud with her own talk show, audiences can enjoy seeing her as Aretha Franklin in the feature film Respect
