Astroworld Investigation: FBI Wants Concertgoers To Upload Photos And Videos On Their Website
The Houston Police Department and the FBI have teamed up to continue their investigation following the Astroworld Festival tragedy. Posting on Twitter on Friday (Jan. 14), HPD said that they have “already viewed countless hours of video” but now want to involve concertgoers with their next phase.
According to KHOU 11, the FBI has created a website where anyone who attended the Traviso Scott festival can upload photos, videos and audio recordings from the event.
HPD and the FBI are specifically looking at all media that was taken at the main venue area between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. during Travis Scott’s Nov. 2021 performance.
While it’s not required, people can submit their contact information. To submit any media from that evening, both departments ask that festival goers click here and follow the steps.
Ten concertgoers died from injuries sustained at Astroworld: Ezra Blount, 9; Jacob Jurinek, 21; John Hilgert, 14; Brianna Rodriguez, 16; Franco Patiño, 21; Axel Acosta, 21; Rudy Peña, 23; Madison Dubiski, 23; Danish Baig, 27; and Bharti Shahani, 22.
Over 300 lawsuits have been filed following the tragedy.
