You won’t normally find MMG’s head boss in charge, Rick Ross, on the forefront of controversy. But that might have changed when he made a perplexing remark on the true premise beneath Kanye West’s recent health scare.

During an appearance in NYC on Monday (Dec. 12), Ricky Rozay took to the stage and paid his respects to the “genius” Kanye West. While it seemed as if he would then share some words of encouragement for Yeezy’s readjustment after his hospital stay, he instead revealed that 'Ye might have pulled the wool over the public's eyes.

“One time for Yeezy,” the “Stay Schemin’” rapper boasted to the crowd. “My homie’s a genius. And for everybody who thought he was wigging out, he played y’all n**gas.”

It’s difficult to decipher whether Rozay was poking a bit of fun to lighten the mood or if he was actually dropping a bomb on some mysterious information surrounding Yeezy’s mental state.  

Guess that’s for him to know and us to (eventually) find out.
