Barack and Michelle Donate 2 Million to Chicago Summer Jobs Program and Reveal 'First Look' of the Obama Center
His Chi-Town presidential library will also have an auditorium, restaurant and public garden.
During an event in Chicago on Wednesday, former president Obama unveiled the concept for his presidential library
The Obama presidential center is designed by husband-and-wife architects Tod Williams and Billie Tsien
Although the construction will take four years, the Obama foundation plans to start community programming immediately
"Michelle and I personally are going to donate $2 million to our summer jobs programs here in the community so that right away young people can get to work and we can start providing opportunities for all of them," Obama said.

As Barack Obama revealed the blueprints, he made a joke about the center's special features
The center will also have classrooms, a library, an auditorium, a restaurant and a public garden. Within the presidential museum, there will be an exhibition space, offices and meeting rooms.
Different buildings on the campus will be connected by underground tunnels with glass openings.
The center will be located on Chicago's south side on Lake Michigan
According to the Obama Foundation, the location of the library was selected because Barack and Michelle Obama want an opportunity to give back to the very community that helped them accomplish much of their life's work.
