Amber Rose Knows How to be a 'Bad B***h'

The model chats about hypocrites, relationships and not hiding her past.

Amber Rose isn’t afraid of her past and while others might use it to keep her down, she’s proud of the journey that’s led her to where she is today. In her interview for GQ’s November issue, the femme fatale and author of new memoir/self-help book How to Be a Bad B***h talks about her relationships and why she’s loving life as a single mom right now.

“I have my own house. I have a Ferrari. I have a Jeep. I have an Escalade. I have two Can-Ams,” Rose said. “I have a beautiful son, two assistants, lawyers, business managers, management, and access to pretty much whatever I want. It does become intimidating for a man. I do feel more comfortable with someone who’s living up to par with me.”
Rose’s wild lifestyle has served as ammunition for those who’ve tried to put her in her place. She’s currently going through a messy divorce with Wiz Khalifa and her ex-boyfriend Kanye West hasn’t exactly lavished Rose with kind words since their breakup in 2010. He devoted an entire album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, to their relationship, but while the album was highly praised, Rose has refused to listen to it.
“Don’t get me wrong,” she said. “I’ll hear songs and I’m like, ‘Oh, he said that about me.’ No one knows what he’s talking about but me and him. People can’t decipher. They’ll be like, ‘That’s a cool song,’ and I’m like, ‘That happened to us when we were together.’”
“Obviously, I know he’s talking to me through music,” she continued.
But that doesn’t keep her from enjoying her life — and dancing along to Yeezy’s tunes at the club. What does make her stop in her tracks is when she needs to deal with hypocrites over social media. Namely, the Kardashian clan that has embraced her ex West as family when he married Kim Kardashian in 2014.
“Best f**king time of my life,” Rose said in regards to getting called out for being a teenage stripper by Khloe Kardashian over Twitter. “I’m not going to say young girls should go be dancers. But that was my journey, and I don’t regret it. [Kim Kardashian] probably had a f**king blast. And guess what? At the time she was in love with that guy. So don’t think you’re better than me, because we’ve all had trials and tribulations.”
