The story of Da'Vine Joy Randolph is like an episode of Glee come to life. 
The Philly native had dreams of being the next Jill Scott, but after an audition for Ghost the Musical, she landed the role of Oda Mae Brown, which won Whoopi Goldberg an Oscar back in 1991. Her first time on Broadway, Miss Da'Vine earned a Tony nomination — and now we are rooting for her at the 66th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday night. 
BET.com had to know more about the 26-year-old who is living the dream. Less than a week from her big night at the Tonys, Da'Vine Joy Randolph chatted about her journey to the Great White Way, celebrity crushes and still feeling like she is just a girl from the block in Philadelphia.
