Young Thug’s Sister Gives Update On His Prison Status

The rapper remains behind bars inside Cobb County Jail until his trial begins in Jan. 2023.

Young Thug’s sister Dorrah is providing his fans an update on the rapper’s mental health while he remains behind bars inside Cobb County Jail until his trial begins in Jan. 2023.

According to a Twitter status update on Sunday (July 10), Dorrah shared that she visited her brother.

“Just seen Jeff … he’s all smiles & positive energy,” she wrote.

Her comments are consistent with other friends of Thug, who have also spoken with him, including Lil Baby and his ex-girlfriend Jerrika Karlae.

“Yeah, I spoke to him,” Jerrika told The Progress Report Podcast in June. “He’s doing good, actually, and he’s in great spirits. I feel like this is just a moment for him to learn a lot of lessons.”

In May 2022, Thug was named part of a 56-count indictment, where he, rapper Gunna and 26 other alleged YSL affiliates were arrested and are allegedly connected to several crimes, including murder and armed robbery.
