Police On Hunt For Man Who Stabbed 76-Year-Old
Boston police are still searching for the perpatrators behind a Tuesday night burglary that reulted in the stabbing attack of a 76-year-old man.
The victim, who is also a cancer patient, was simply buying a scratch ticket when he was attacked by unknown criminals.
Local police have released imaged of several individuals who are believed to be involved in the attack. One woman, and one man, neither have been declared suspects as of now.
The victim told officers that he was attacked after he refused to give up his money to suspects.
The victim's sister told The Boston Herald that after the attack, her brother walked home and opened the front door. “Somebody stabbed me,” he said. He then went to his bedroom, took two pain killers and said, “Call an ambulance,” she recounted.
She also said he was shaking, and bleeding from his side. “It scared me,” she said.
Since the attack, the victim has been on the road to recovery and is reportedly in stable condition but still in quite a lot of pain.
“He’s very generous. He’ll help you out if he can,” his sister said. “I don’t know why the guy did this. Everyone knows him up and down the street. He’s a good guy. He’s friendly. I don’t understand it.”
