Jason Day's Wife 'Okay' After LeBron James Crash

Ellie suffers a concussion, fan safety at games a concern.

Pro golfer Jason Day may rest easier this holiday season, knowing his better half is recovering from that scary run-in with LeBron James.

In what may have been the Blooper Reel of the Year, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward dove for the ball and landed on Ellie Day, forcing the new mom to be carried out of the arena on a stretcher. She's now home healing from a concussion and injuries to her neck and back.

THE HUR LOCKER: INJURY PLAGUED NBA STARS

"We good," she tweeted, comparing the collision to a "minor car accident" as well as being "hit by a truck." "First of all, I am okay!" she said. "I am incredibly sore and exhausted" after being "tackled" by "that large man."

"It wasn't anything out of the usual besides the injury," James told ESPN. "But to me, obviously her health is very important, and hopefully she's doing well. The guys told us she's doing great now. So, but you know, I was going for a loose ball. Just trying to keep the possession going, and I hate that that was the end result of it."

"It's always concerned me, the sideline seats," Cavs coach David Blatt told USA Today. "Always concerned me, because things like that, when you're talking about players of this speed and physicality and effort level, it's not a simple thing. The powers that be are the ones that really need to decide how to deal with that. He [James] made an honest attempt at the basketball, that's all, obviously. We all hope she's OK."

The Cavs bested the Oklahoma City Thunder that night 104-100.
