Macy Gray, Tatyana Ali Join Queen Latifah's November Rule
Macy Gray, Tatyana Ali, Kali Hawk and Mo McRae are on board for November Rule, an upcoming romantic comedy executive produced by Queen Latifah.
The rom-com follows a sports shoe entrepreneur (McRae) who has made a "November rule" in order to keep his distance from women. Every November, he breaks up with the woman he's seeing using a whopping lie. But when he realizes he has let go of the woman of his dreams, he tries everything to get her back.
The project is the latest in a major content push from Latifah's production company Flavor Unit. The Miami-based company is also in post-production on the drama Brotherly Love, starring Keke Palmer and Romeo Miller, and is developing stoner comedy Who Says Money Don't Grow on Trees and The Tony Story, starring Meek Mill.
The company's biggest cash cow is, of course, Latifah's popular daytime talk show, The Queen Latifah Show.
A release date has not yet been set for November Rule.
