Drake's Take Care album has officially gone platinum. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it was released in November and has now sold more than a million copies five weeks after its release.

Surely album sales will continue to rise once Drake kicks off his Club Paradise tour through North America on Feb. 14 to promote his sophomore LP. The tour will take Drake across the South and West coast before heading overseas to Europe at the end of March.

Drake also plans to drop a mix tape with Rick Ross titled Y.O.L.O. (You Only Live Once) in 2012.
