'America's Got Talent' Execs Don't Want to Let Nick Cannon Go Just Yet

The network has a new view on the comedian's contract, though.

Nick Cannon has been the topic of headlines for the past few days after he announced via social media that he's giving up his hosting gig at America's Got Talent.

According to TMZ, the executives at the show actually don't want the comedian to leave the show, but won't hold him against his will if he wants to walk.

The site also reports that though the show kicks off again next month, the network isn't looking for new hosts to replace Cannon just yet as they're hoping he has a change of heart.

If the comedian follows through with his exit, however, the network likely will not sue him for breach of contract.
