Our favorite weatherman Al Roker is getting a kick out of being a granddad to the newest member of his lovely family.

Ever since the precious newborn made her grand entrance into the world, Roker has been chronicling his love for the little one on social media. According to NBC, he recently shared a precious photo of him and little Sky Clara on his Instagram account. In the snap, Roker peers down while she is cradled in his arms. He captioned the post, “I could look into this face all day.”

He added, “But then, little Sky Clara wouldn’t get to eat, so I eventually had to give her back to Mommy and Daddy.”

The good times continue to roll for the grandpa and his new best friend. He shared another sweet photo in his latest post to his followers on the same platform. In the image, Grandpa Roker is in a chair while his granddaughter is asleep on his chest. “How was your day? Mine was pretty pretty pretty pretty good.”, he wrote in the caption.

Roker's daughter Courtney Roker-Laga and her husband Wes welcomed the adorable baby girl on July 3.

He told his co-host Hoda Kotb how excited he was to become a grandfather, "It's magical. It really is," he said. "Everybody tells you that it's going to be this thing, and you don't know — it's like when they tell you about having our first child.

“And then, to hold this little girl knowing that 30, almost 35 years ago, I held her mom,” he continued. “And here she is ... and she’s just perfect.”

Back In March, Courtney shared that she was expecting on Instagram. Under her post, her famous dad commented, "Here we go!!! So very very happy!!!!! You guys.”
