Tiger Woods No Longer Ranked in Top 50
The former No. 1 golfer has had a rough year.
For the first time in nearly 50 years, Tiger Woods has been knocked out of the top 50 in the world ranking.
That ends a streak of 778 consecutive weeks inside the top 50, dating to when Woods was No. 61 on Oct. 13, 1996, writes the Associated Press.
Woods barely qualified for his own tournament last month when he ranked 49 out of 50.
Woods plans to participate in the Frys.com Open at the CordeValle course in California.
