Twitter Reacts To T.I. Getting Booed During Comedy Set

The rapper appears to have trouble getting a laugh from his audience.

T.I. took to the stage Saturday night (April 9) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, not to rap but to try his hand at comedy. Video clips circulated on social media appeared to show him having trouble connecting with his audience. Instead of laughter, awkward silence and some boos are heard in the background.

According to XXL, T.I’s set included jokes about determining whether or not a date is for the streets and about having sex with someone's mother.

Here are some other reactions.

Others applauded the rapper’s effort to master a new skill. One Twitter user praised his courage for “taking a massive risk.”
