Taylor Gang’s stoner-in-chief Wiz Khalifa is not hopping on the “lean,” also known as “Purple Drank,” wave, and rightfully so.

As a rap artist known for jumpstarting his own wavy trends and (*ahem*) agricultural leadership, he wants everyone to know that “lean is lame.”

Posted up on an Instagram video, Wiz spoke his anti-lean PSA for fans while puffing on a fat blunt.

“You know I was doing a lot of thinking, because I like to think a lot,” he begins. “And you know when a lot of people follow one trend or find themselves doing the same thing that everyone else is doing, you don’t really get someone who speaks for the other side. So I’m gonna just go ahead and speak for the other side. Lean is lame.”

He lets the proud lean-sippers know that his message is no shot at them, but those who have their reasons for staying away from the purple poison are on the right path.

As a self-proclaimed stoner himself, Wiz has had his fair share of controversies with his substance of choice as well. In September, the “Smokin Good” artist rubbed the MLB the wrong way after pretending to hit a joint before throwing the first pitch at a Pittsburgh Pirates game. With the burning legislative topic of marijuana legalization becoming more and more pressing in recent years, however, he shouldn’t have too many more issues with the public’s concern of the legality of his favorite hobby.
