Snoop Dogg Set to Play Cold-Blooded Killer in Upcoming Movie, ‘The Big Payback’
Snoop Dogg is going cold-blooded for his next performance.
Just before the weekend, the Death Row label boss took to Instagram to announce his upcoming project, “The Big Payback,” where he plays a ruthless killer.
“In a world full of Gods and monsters, the only way to cut off evil is at the root,” the industry veteran in the tease clip before it cuts to a shot of his character waiting in a dark room, cleverly enjoying a bowl of Snoop’s Hoopz.
Not much is known about the Dah Dah-directed film, whether it was completed before the writers Strike, or when it’ll be released. However, that rapper did state fans could expect the project, “soon.”
The West Coast legend last appeared in Netflix’s film, “Day Shift” starring Dave Franco, Meagan Good, Karla Souza, and Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx. Snoop starred as "Big" John Elliott, an old friend of Foxx’s character, Bud, and a veteran vampire hunter in the 2022 supernatural movie.
