Sadly, Prince may be gone, but thanks to the outpouring of memorable tributes (minus the Billboard Music Awards), he will never be forgotten.

This time, it’s the Los Angeles-based Syncopated Ladies’ turn to pay tribute to The Purple One — and like their Formation routine, this one is absolutely everything.

Choreographed by lead dancer Chloe Arnold, the all-female troupe tapped their hearts out to Prince’s 1984 hit "When Doves Cry." Dressed in ‘80s-inspired black-and-gray outfits with cutout gloves, the ladies slay while channeling their inner Prince, giving us a sexy, sleek and unique routine.

"Salute the artist. From 1958 - infinity... We will always remember!" said the caption of the video.

So dope.

But this routine also serves as another example of what a powerful art form dance is and how it influences those who consume it. Arnold previously told BET that she hopes that Syncopated Ladies can inspire others to take dance seriously and to encourage aspiring dancers to stick with it.

“If you think about it, for women, you have all these hundreds of thousands, probably millions, of girls around the world dancing, but their parent is saying, ‘Well, what are you gonna do with it? Where’s the job?’ And when you’re a woman in tap, really, where is the job? What we’re trying to do is create the job for the women around the world that have the talent and just need a platform to be heard,” she said.

Well, we say keep the dance coming — Prince would be proud.
