Justin Bieber Compares His Spirituality To Tupac’s

He says they both want to ‘tell people about God’s love for them.’

Justin Bieber says he feels a deep connection to Tupac in regards to their beliefs in a higher power.

During an interview with Power 106 on Wednesday (May 4), the singer was asked by morning show co-host Letty about the Hip Hop legend’s “connection to God” in light of Bieber’s own “deeper connection.” Letty subsequently cited the Tupac song “Who Do You Believe In” as an example.

“Wow. Yeah, I mean, as you know, I’ve always been a big 2Pac fan. … But yeah, I definitely have grown in my journey with my faith,” Bieber said. “And I definitely feel like we have some similarities when it comes to just our conviction about wanting to tell people about God’s love for them.”

Bieber says that the hook of the referenced song reveals Pac putting his “faith in God” and asking those experiencing grief to do the same. He also noted he’s leaned into further focusing on a higher power in his lyrics in recent years, including on his most recent album Justice.
