Jamie Foxx to Star in New Movie, Blink
Following up a year of child's play (The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Annie), Jamie Foxx will soon grace the screen in a more adult role.
The multi-hyphenate talent has signed on to star in the upcoming Noam Murro drama Blink, Variety reports, as a caregiver, whose patient is the victim of a bank robbery, and who has shady ambitions of his own.
The announcement was made at this year's Cannes Film Market, which occurs at the same time as the region's prestigious film festival.
No word on when Blink will go in front of cameras, but Foxx's schedule is filling up fast. The actor is getting ready to drop his new album Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses next Monday (May 18), preceded by his latest single, "In Love By Now" and a teaser of one with Kid Ink.
Foxx will also star in the upcoming action thriller Sleepless Nights, opposite Michelle Monaghan.
