There’s never been a more verifiable case of “I’m not the father” than this.

A man named Earl Simmons was recently hit with a child support notice to pay out money to DMX’s children. And it wasn’t DMX! An Earl Simmons in Massachusetts got a demand for a paternity test from X’s baby mom in Florida, and presumably he was stupefied.

Recently speaking with TMZ in New York, X laughed about the situation and is not going to put forth a major effort to clear it up.

“Why he ain’t in jail yet? ‘Cause he clearly hasn’t paid so Earl Simmons, pay that m*****f****** money!” he said in the video when asked about the mix-up. “If he wants to pay some extra money, let him pay it. I’ll give him free tickets to a concert.”

DMX confirmed that the children slated to receive the child support were in fact his. 

DMX was recently released from prison in an unrelated child support case.
