Dave Chappelle And Chris Rock To Headline New Comedy Show
Comedians Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock have partnered to take their comedic talents to London in September 2022 for a new comedy show!
Chappelle and Rock will take the stage at The O2 Arena and priority tickets for what is to be described as “a very special show” by the event venue will go on sale on Wednesday (June 8).
General tickets will be available for purchase on Friday (June 10).
Both comedians have been in the press about their recent on-stage attacks this year. It first kicked off when Rock was smacked in the face by actor Will Smith during the 2022 Academy Awards back in March after he made a joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith. In May, while Chappelle was performing at the Netflix Is A Joke festival in Los Angeles, he was attacked on stage by 23-year-old Isaiah Lee, who was armed with a weapon.
Following the May incident, Chappelle and Rock teamed up in a secret comedy show in LA where they each teased each other about their headlining on-stage incidents, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“At least you got smacked by someone of repute!” Chappelle joked speaking to Rock. “I got smacked by a homeless guy with leaves in his hair.”
To which Rock responded, “I got smacked by the softest ni**a that ever rapped.”
