Todd Bridges recently married the love of his life, Bettijo B. Hirschi! 

Last week, the Diff'rent Strokes star vowed his love and adoration for his new wife with a beautiful low-key ceremony at Greystone Mansion & Gardens in Beverly Hills, California. 

Bridges told People, it was special to marry someone he was "madly in love with." 

The proud groom says he knew from the moment a mutual friend introduced them that Hirschi was his soulmate. "We met through a friend that I've [known] for a long time named Mandy," Bridges explained. "I was supposed to actually be setting her up with someone else, but it didn't go that way. When I met her, I was like, 'I'm not going to set her up with anyone else. I want her for myself.' "

The ceremony held in front of 70 guests was filled with beautiful moments, including Hirschi walking down the aisle in a stunning wedding  dress she designed herself. The gorgeous all-satin gown featured a fitted bodice, a square neck, and an 80-inch satin train. She completed the look with a 200-inch-long veil. 

In the interview, she shared, “I tried to find something off-the-rack that I could wear, and I just wasn't seeing what I wanted because I wanted more coverage. I like classic beauty channeling from older eras, like Audrey Hepburn. So that's what I was really inspired by."

To honor their love journey, the newlyweds enjoyed their first dance to "At Last" by Etta James.

"We kind of both had given up on finding something this great,” Hirschi told People. “And we were super surprised to be able to have it kind of given to us, and we feel like God had a hand in bringing us together. We feel so blessed."

Here’s to the joyous new couple and their happily ever after, which starts with their honeymoon in Hawaii!
