NeNe Leakes Is Still Mad at The View for Being 'Shady' to Her
NeNe Leakes is booked, but she's still mad. During her appearance on last night's episode of Watch What Happens Live!, the reality star dished a little more on her appearance on The View and now she's naming names.
When host Andy Cohen asked her what went down, the Chicago star held no punches. "Oh, yes, honey. Let's read The View. What do you need to know? Tell me all about it," she said, via E! News. "Well, I didn't see any of those ladies that's on the panel until I actually walked on the panel. And I felt like they were not kind to me. I just... honestly, they weren't kind. It's not even 'felt like.'"
Those who saw the awkward segment could tell that co-host Joy Behar wasn't all the way there for NeNe's appearance, but NeNe said it was more than just her. "Now, Joy was definitely throwing a lot of shade, but there was someone else on the panel that threw shade as well, as far as looking me up and down," she said. "Now, we were live, so as far as what the cameras shot or showed, I don't know. It didn't show everything. But I could tell you that there were a couple of people on that panel who were very shady. Now, they welcomed me to their home —"
After Cohen asked if she was referring to Raven-Symoné, NeNe quickly responded, "Probably," adding that the former child-star looked her up and down "real nasty-like."
"I didn't like that, because look, first of all, I was invited to their show. I was there to promote Chicago and other things," she said. "They asked me to bring pictures of my home there, and I brought the picture they asked me to bring, and they just weren't kind. They did not have nice manners.
In true NeNe fashion, she ended the segment with a little bit of shade before making her exit.
"I know all of them are tired: their hairstyles are tired, their makeup is tired. Whatever," she said.
