In the wake of the unprecedented aftermath of Hurricane Maria, Donald Trump has continued his tweet storm targeting NFL players and their teams who choose to partake in the #TakeAKnee protest against police brutality.

Somewhere along the line, however, Marc Anthony has seemingly had enough of 45's Twitter fingers. 

On Monday (Sept. 25), Trump doubled down on his comments from the weekend through a series of tweets and asserted that his stance was not motivated by race but more so contingent upon respect. A few hours later, Anthony responded to 45's social media antics with a fiery message of his own. "Mr. President shut the f*ck up about NFL. Do something about our people in need in Puerto Rico," the "I Need You" singer tweeted.

Anthony, who hails from Yauco, continued, "We are American citizens too." Since making landfall on Sept. 20 and devastating most of the country, Trump has done little to address the needs of the U.S. commonwealth. The category 5 storm is the most powerful natural disaster the island has seen in 80 years. There is reportedly no access to electricity or running water, and communication is limited. 

Marc has also advocated for the donating of funds to the devastated island, joining the likes of J. Lo, Alyssa Milano and Ricky Martin. "We'll never quit," the singer said in a video message posted on his social media accounts. "Listen, I also know that in moments like this it's easy to get desperate and you feel like you're alone, but you're not." 

"We are on our way," he continued. "We are on our way and we're going to come out of this stronger than ever. So, hang in there. Help is on its way."
