#NoFilter: Lonely Lingerie Features Real Women
Being photographed in our underwear sounds like a nightmare for most women, but New Zealand brand Lonely Lingerie is trying to change the notion that only models can feel good in bras and panties by showing off their new line of lingerie modeled by nine real women, of all backgrounds and sizes, without any retouching or Photoshop whatsoever.
The Autumn/Winter 2016 campaign stars ballerina Anna Collins, trans model Aurel Haize Odogbo, artist Ajani Lucid and many other women who prove that you don't need to have a supermodel body to look great and feel sexy in lingerie.
Lonely's designer Helene Morris spoke about the models, saying they are "independent women who can collectively say they are proud to be themselves." With stylist Zara Mirkin adding, "I just want women to accept who they are and appreciate what they bring to this world and very importantly be proud of what they look like...Any size or skin color."

These photos are a perfect antidote to the unrealistic beauty standards perpetuated by the media — who knows, maybe we'll be inspired to take some underwear selfies ourselves!
