Fit For A Queen!: Beyoncé Renewed Her Vows In This $16K Couture Gown Inspired By Actual Royalty
At this point, Jay-Z and Beyoncé should be considered actual royalty. Beyoncé's vow renewal dress was literally inspired by an actual Queen. That’s why we call her Queen Bey!
From cheating scandals to risqué photo shoots, fans literally cannot get enough of the intimate details that the Carters share about their lives. In true Carter fashion, the On the Run II Tour that kicked off in England last Wednesday (June 6) featured a look into the married performers' vow renewal. Check out the video below:
The On The Run II Tour official Twitter shared this exclusive footage of the family, including 6-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and 11-month-old twins Sir and Rumi dressed in all white. The real head turner was Beyoncé in her gown, which Israeli designer Galia Lahav revealed to be her Thelma dress from the Victorian Affinity collection.
According to Lahav’s website, the extravagant, embellished gown was created to pay homage to Queen Victoria’s wedding dress. The corseted, blush gown features a sheer back made of lace, an off-the shoulder neckline with sheer drape silk sleeves and appliques covered in Swarovski crystals and pearls.
Did we mention the price? According to Metro UK, the wedding dress costs over $12,000 and the train is $3,900. A dress, and price, fit for a true queen. Here’s a video of the full details of the $16,000 wedding look below:
Now we’re just patiently waiting for our queen to drop some more photos in this gown! But we already know that she slayed this look.
