Police Offering $5,000 Reward for Arrest of Chris Johnson's Shooter
Police are still looking to collar the person who shot NFL running back Chris Johnson.
Law enforcement sources are telling TMZ Sports that the Central Florida Crimeline has a $5,000 reward for anyone who can provide tips that will lead to the arrest of Johnson's shooter. Johnson and his two friends were shot in a drive-by on March 8 in Tampa. Dreekius Oricko Johnson was killed after being shot in the head. Johnson was shot in the shoulder and another passenger, Reggie Johnson, struck in the hand.
The reward money was raised through donations. The tips can be shared anonymously.
"We just hope people call back with more info so justice can be served," a source from the Central Florida Crimeline told TMZ Sports.
Playing with the New York Jets last season, Johnson rushed for 663 yards and one touchdown on 155 carries through 16 games.
