During a recent appearance on the podcast Know For Sure, Bre Tiesi, the mother of Nick Cannon’s eighth child, set the record straight about her relationship with the “Gigolo” emcee.

On Tuesday  (June 21), the 31-year-old real estate agent and model opened up to cohosts B. Simone and Megan Brooks about her present status with her baby boy’s father and the flack she took on social media regarding her decision to have a child with Cannon.

When asked if she considered their relationship to be a form of “polygamy” or an “open relationship,” Tiesi avoided giving a direct response but did say, “This is our relationship and what you do outside of that, is what you do outside of that. I‘m only worried about my family. I'm only worried about my home. All of my needs are met at the end of the day. Everything is respectful. Everything is honest."

She also said that her relationship status with the Drumlime star wasn’t “necessarily anything,” but her needs were being met.  The mom-to-be did admit that she would be “happy” if Cannon would commit to one woman.

“I love him,” she explained to Simone and Brooks. Tiesi did divulge that she didn’t know if he still has physical relationships with his other children’s mothers, and she doesn’t compare herself.

In the intimate interview, the expectant mom shared that she didn’t speak to the other moms but wanted to ensure her child would know his   half-siblings.

Tiesi also spoke about the flack she got on social media in December after folks discovered she was having Cannon’s eighth baby while news of his son Zen’s death circulated online.

“It was a really delicate situation,” she said of the aftermath of Alyssa Scott's loss-  referencing Zen’s mother. “I can't imagine what she was going through. It was all f***ed. Of course, I felt bad.”

“How do I respect this person without taking away all of the things that I also want for myself?” Tiesi asked.

“What if I don't have another kid, so now I don't have a gender reveal, I don't have a baby shower, I don't celebrate my moment and my kid,” the 31-year-old woman admitted, revealing she suffered a miscarriage in the past. “It was such a struggle.”

Tiesi is due in October.
