'Tyler Perry’s The Oval': A Stunning Turn of Events Shakes Things Up
This week’s episode of Tyler Perry’s The Oval picks right back up where we left off last week: With Bobby and Simone, the second lady, getting it on. But you knew Bobby’s freaky self wouldn’t be able to resist her, right? He even asked her to choke him, and she obliged. They both get a lot of pinned-up aggression out before the moment of clarity that maybe they shouldn’t have done that. Bobby, especially, says that it won’t happen again. But we know it’s going to happen again. Simone even clarifies that she didn’t step out of her marriage for it to be the only time they get it on and that they’ll keep seeing each other for as long as she wants to do it.
Obviously, when Bobby gets back to work, Max figures out what went down and points out that Bobby should probably stop sleeping with women whose husbands can take him out and get away with it.
Now we check on Hunter, who is still bedridden. He is convinced that Donald is working with Victoria and fires him. Obviously, Donald doesn’t take it well and tells Hunter that he has always had his back. But it’s a done deal. Hunter has his new agent, Isaac, tase the hell out of Donald to the point where he passes out. Isaac is then instructed to put Donald in his office while unconscious, and they’ll see what he does when he wakes up.
Speaking of Hunter, he’s still trying to find a new ally in Priscilla, but she is obviously still skeptical, so he sends her to the bunker to check things out for herself. When she gets there, she trolls Victoria by calling Hunter her lover and Victoria is almost stunned into silence. Victoria threatens to sic her father on Priscilla, but Priscilla ain’t never scared, at least for now.
Finally, the episode winds down with Kareem and Antonio concocting a stupid plan to grab the first lady through the prison bars that connect their adjacent cells because they think it will somehow get them out of there. That obviously backfires when the first lady starts going off and wiggles so violently out of their grips that she slips and knocks herself out. Maybe she’s knocked out? We don’t know if she’s dead, but she’s definitely not moving, and now Kareem and Antonio are even more screwed.
