When host Sean Evans asked about conspiracy theories, Cardi noted that she doesn’t believe that extraterrestrial beings exist.  “I really don’t believe that aliens are real,” she said. “So if aliens are real and they’re smarter than us, I feel like, why they just haven’t invaded us?”

It’s been well-established that Cardi is a fan of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s presidency, so it’s no surprise that visiting his home was her favorite part of her 2022 interview with David Letterman. “If anybody loves me and knows me, I love FDR,” she said. “I saw the room where [Winston] Churchill and FDR was talking about the nuke. That’s crazy to me! Like, I’m really here!”

While Cardi is married to Offset, it hasn’t always been clear if they spend a lot of time discussing the music they’re each working on. But, according to the Bronx rapper, they provide each other musical insight outside of the studio. “We go to the studio a lot, so it’s like, ‘What you been working on? What you been playing on?,’” she said. “And as soon as he heard [the beat for ‘Bongos’], he was like, ‘Oh, this is fire.’”

According to Cardi, Jay-Z and Rihanna are the north star when it comes to making the right business moves in music. “Who I look up to, it would be like Jay-Z, Rihanna because I just feel like they’re super moguls,” she said.

Cardi is a wrestling fan, so when Evans asked her how she incorporates the names of wrestlers into her bars, she revealed what her appearance would look like whenever she eventually attends Wrestlemania. “[It would be] very skimpy, but I feel like my entrance would have to be grand,” she said. “[Melina] used to walk in with two guys and then she would do a whole split on the ropes. I would have to enter grand like that.”
