Fox News Anchor Never Heard of Classism and Believes in 'Asian Supremacy'
In the words of Cam'ron, one of Bill O'Reilly's most infamous guests: you mad, Fox News?
Yesterday, BET.com's Clay Cane joined Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor to discuss the notorious host's recent "war on race." Guest hosted by Jesse Watters, he insisted the "disintegration" of the Black community is due to the high number of Black women having "children out of wedlock." In actuality, marriage rates are at a historic low for every demographic, regardless of race.

But the conversation took a bizarre turn when Watters challenged the notion that there is racism in the public education system. Watters began by misquoting Clay as saying "education is racist" — whatever that means — and then carried through his own faulty logic by asking if there is such a thing as "Asian supremacy" because "Asians do better at math and science than whites." Stereotypes, anyone?
To make matters worse, when Cane explained the effects of gentrification, which is a combination of racism and classism, Watters said, "Those are a lot of isms, I don't know what that means!" Clay quickly shot back with, "You don't know what classism means?"
Jason Riley of the Wall Street Journal, who once said Blacks were better off when they were being lynched, claimed that "racism is being used as a weapon" by the political left before repeating the conservative party line that "we have a Black president" to back up his statement. He also ranted that African-Americans are brainwashed by the left by convincing us racism is a bigger issue than it really is. Thankfully, Clay was there, as Keith Boykin said, to put some logic in an illogical debate.
