Watch: This 86-Year-Old Woman Hopes Thief Who Stole Her Purse Gets 'Her A** Beat'

Don’t mess with Bernice Starnes.

During a Pix 11 news broadcast, Bernice Starnes proved that you are never too old to give someone a piece of your mind.

On Sunday, the 86-year-old wheelchair-bound woman sat outside her apartment complex in the Bronx when surveillance footage captured a woman stealing her purse. Police used the footage to arrest 37-year-old Adrianne Terry.

Starnes remembered the interaction she had with the assailant on the morning of September 11.

"She came up to me and I said good morning," Starnes recalled. "She said, 'Oh it is a good morning,' then grabbed my pocketbook and started to run."

After the cash was removed from the purse, Terry allegedly then threw Starnes’s purse in the garbage.

When news reporters asked Starnes to speak about what occurred, she gave one of the most amazing interviews of all time.

Starnes told reporter Ayana Harry that she hopes “the women in prison beat her a** every day.” When Harry asked if that was a bit “harsh,” Starnes told her exactly what she felt.

"Well, so what? What she did to me was even worse! I'm supposed to feel sorry for that b***h? I don't."

Starnes also commented that she hopes “[Terry] stay there for the rest of her freakin' life."

The NYPD officers who arrested Terry felt so bad for Starnes that they pooled together some money and delivered it to her. When she received the donated money, she broke into tears and said, “God bless them and keep them safe.”
