Yeezy SZN is a Movie, Literally
Kanye West is never one to simply release an album and have fans hear it. Oh no. Everything ‘Ye does when it comes to dropping music is always accompanied by something extra. That’s why he’s bringing his forthcoming album SWISH to theaters.
‘Ye previously announced he’s dropping his seventh solo studio LP on February 11 and now it’s been revealed that during the same day he’s slated to debut the album during a performance at Madison Square Garden, which will be livestreamed at select theaters across the world.
A poster of the event has already surfaced due the brilliant people at TeamKanyeDaily zooming in and capturing it from a tweet ‘Ye made late last week. It bills the event as Yeezy Season 3 (the first two being his previous fashion line debuts) and according to theater listings the event will feature a performance by Vanessa Beecroft, an artist involved in both previous Yeezy Season launches.
Kanye West streamed both of his previous Yeezy Season releases in theaters, so it’s not so farfetched to believe he’d do the same for his next musical drop. On Sunday he revealed a handwritten tracklisting for SWISH via Twitter. It contains 10 songs, some of which have already been released.
