After a long battle with colon cancer, Uncle June Bug passed away Sunday (March 30). He was 70 years old.

June Bug often toured with his nephew Snoop, and performed on stage as one-part dancer, two-parts beloved personality. Daz Dillinger, another nephew of his, told TMZ that he died at 9:30 a.m. just after Snoop came into the hospital for a visit.

He acknowledged Snoop's presence before he departed, Daz said, and he lived an entire week longer than doctors anticipated.

Snoop, who has been posting a series of Instagram pics in remembrance, tweeted Sunday, "Love u unc!! C u when I get there. !!! R. I. P. junebug!!"
