‘Let's Go’: Yara Shahidi Prepares For Harvard Graduation
Actress and Ivy league student Yara Shahidi is celebrating a major academic accomplishment.
The Grown-ish star took to Instagram on Wednesday (March 9) to reveal she’s finished her very long thesis at Harvard University.
"Weighing in at 32,508 words and 136 pages, is this thesis writer, Yara Sayeh Shahidi! Let's go," she celebrated with a laugh in Harvard gear. Shahidi captioned her post similarly.

This isn’t the only time Yara has made sure that education remains in the forefront of her focus. In September 2021, she revealed she had a strict curfew at the Primetime Emmy Awards, saying she requested to present early in order to make it home in time to attend classes the next day.
Yara Shahidi was accepted to the Ivy League school in 201, but took a gap year before beginning her studies. She also revealed she was accepted at Stanford, Yale and Spelman.
