Azealia Banks Claps Back At DC Young Fly For Making Fun Of Her 'Wild 'N Out' Appearance
Shocker: Azealia Banks’ appearance on “Wild ‘N Out,” a TV show that culminates in an insult rap battle, didn’t go well.
The Harlem rappers originally claimed that she went on the show to do a performance, but instead, had jokes thrown her way by members of the program, including Nick Cannon and DJ Young Fly.
“I did Wildin’ out today. There were tons of pre-planned colorist jokes and of course .... cry baby cried,” Banks wrote on Instagram. It prompted Cannon, the show’s host, to respond, which he probably shouldn’t have. Even after their back-and-forth, however, it still wasn’t clear as to exactly what made Banks cry.
Well now, DC Young Fly is telling his side of the story and apparently it was his remarks that got the waterworks going. During a taping of DC, Karlous Miller, and Chico Bean’s The 85 South Show on July 21 in Miami, the comedian provided more context.
“First of all, I didn’t know who she was,” He said, before claiming she was saying "something about me about three or four times" during the taping before he decided to fire back. "So I finally grabbed the mic. She had braces on her teeth but she didn’t have the wire on the braces, so I said, ‘You need to fire your dentist with his stupid ass 'cause he took the wire and told you to keep the metal.’”
“She only had them on the bottom so I’m like what happened to the top motherf****r? That was it, and she just started crying,” he continued.
Apparently though, that’s not how Azealia saw what happened and she took to IG once again to clap back at DC Young Fly.
Welp, just when you thought you could give a little benefit of the doubt to Azealia, she goes the racist and sexist route.
SMH.
