Princess Love Says She’s Filing For Divorce From Ray J
Things may be over for good between Ray J and Princess Love.
The two, who wed in 2016, have been airing out their dirty laundry on social media for the past 48 hours, starting with the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood starlet blasting her husband for leaving her and their daughter stranded in Las Vegas.
Since then, their problems snowballed into an even bigger feud, with the two going back and forth on social media, and one thing's certain: Princess is ready to move on.
After she admitted it's "time to let go," and shared receipts with her followers showing that Ray J blocked her on Instagram, the "One Wish" singer took to social media to defend himself and deny any accusations that he abandoned his family.
"I am my family. I love my family. I've dedicated my life to my family," he said on Instagram. "To insinuate that I would do anything to harm my daughter is just sad. Man, I'm at the Sky Lofts right now, as you can see. I just don't understand how somebody can get 'stranded' when we never left! We've been right here. You're staying right there. We're gonna get into little arguments here and there, but it's small stuff that you can work out. But to take to social media and create this crazy story about me leaving my baby in harm's way is not cool."
In the video's supporting caption, Ray J apologized for what happened between them and explained, "I miss my baby Melody so much it hurts!"
"I'm so sorry the world has to watch a young relationship like ours fall down," he wrote. "In order to be solid in a relationship, you have to keep people out of it and let God work it out. But this hasn't been the case. I will continue being the best man and father I can be no matter what's on the other side. Without respect there is nothing. Love took [an] L this time."
After seeing Ray J's rebuttal, Princess returned to her Instagram story to call his bluff one more time and stressed that she refuses to "put on a front" to defend anyone.
"People can lie all they want," she wrote. "I will never put on a front for ANYONE. I still haven't gotten a call, text, nothing... I'm still BLOCKED! He still hasn't checked to see if me or my daughter are ok or where we are even at. So cut the SH** please. Thanks."
Going on to address his claim that they "never left," she added, "If we've 'so called' been there the whole time, why would you miss your baby?"
Princess, who is more than eight months pregnant with the couple's second child, further sparked divorce speculation when she commented on Ray J's Instagram Live using their daughter Melody's handle.
"Filing for divorce when I get back to L.A.," she wrote.
In another video, Princess shined some light on where their issues stemmed from, adding that they hit a rough patch about two weeks ago when she learned of a second phone Ray J was keeping. She explained that he admitted to "entertaining some women."
"He asked me to move to Vegas," she continued. "And I'm like, no, I don't want to move to Vegas. And so he's like... 'Well can you at least consider it?' I'm like, 'No, I don't want to move to Vegas. I'm not even considering it.' This is not the place to have kids, this is not the place to raise your kids, and I just don't like it here. It's too many distractions. You already like to gamble. There's way too many parties going on every night, and it's just not the place I want to be. So, I said, sarcastically, 'Well, you can move to Vegas, but I'm going to be in L.A.' So, he got really mad."
She claimed that while she was not being sincere, her husband took her words literally and blew up anyway, which she said led to him leaving and not returning until the next day. Once he got back, she said they fought some more and the topic of divorce was introduced.
"I said, 'With the way you just get up and disappear, I gotta get back to L.A. and get my mind right before this baby comes, because with the way you move, I'm liable to be alone at any given moment," she continued. "And he said, 'Well, I'm preparing to be alone, too, as long as I can see my kids Monday until Wednesday. And I said, 'OK, we can just be separated then.' And he's like... 'Not before I file first.' So, the conversation got really, really ugly."
Now, the reality starlet says she is still in Las Vegas and Ray J has now blocked her from contacting him.
