Lil Wayne and Drake Will Battle on Co-Headling Tour
YMCMB fans were already elated when Drake and Lil Wayne announced their first joint tour, Drake vs. Lil Wayne, in June. But now the Grammy Award-winning artists will up the ante with a never-before-seen battle.
Weezy told MTV that his manager Cortez Bryant came up with the awesome idea.
"Since, thank God, we've been so successful, [we'll just be] going back and forth with our hits and getting the crowd to go crazy, then just finally hit the stage together," Weezy said while on the set of his "Krazy" video. "It's a battle type thing."
It sounds like a tour fans will not want to miss. In addition to confirming what could be the most highly-anticipated battle in recent rap history, Weezy said Drizzy will also have more cameos on Tha Carter V besides "Believe Me."
The Drake vs. Lil Wayne tour kicks off August 8 in Buffalo, N.Y., and will make stops in cities including Charlotte, NC; Miami; Portland, Maine; Philadelphia; Denver; and Los Angeles.
