Chlöe Bailey Is Her Own Wave In Stunning ‘Shark Tale’ Halloween Costume
It is too early to salute the MVP of the 2021 Halloween season?
With everyone putting on their best looks in anticipation of Oct. 31, Chlöe Bailey ups the ante with her latest post to Instagram.
Inspired by the Angelina Jolie-voiced character Lola from DreamWorks’ 2004 Shark Tale, the “Have Mercy” donned the costume for her 4 million social media followers to enjoy and celebrate.
The shimmery red number worn by Bailey has her in front of a water-y backdrop with the caption, “She’s dangerous, supa bad. Better watch out she’ll take your cash,” which describes the seductive lionfish from the computer-generated film.
The 23-year-old rising superstar has been lighting the internet and courtsides on fire with her jaw-dropping looks. After her debut solo single placed in the top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, she has continued to tease fans and haters alike with her unbothered demeanor and upcoming debut solo studio album.
With anticipation building for her coming out party, the former Disney actress took to The Breakfast Club to answer questions about comparisons to Beyoncé (she and her sister, Halle, are signed to Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment).
“[Beyoncé and I] talk about any and everything, and I’m just so grateful to have her stamp of approval,” she told the morning radio show tandem. “She always gives me words of encouragement. You have no idea how much that means to me. [And] what she says is kinda like, ‘OK, that’s pretty dope.’ [It’s] because she’s been there [and] has done that. To know that the advice that she’s given me is exactly from the place that I’m in, it is pretty cool and inspiring.”
Bailey’s Halloween look comes just days after defending herself from the online critics who claim that the Atlanta, Georgia native “does too much,” which prompted a just clapback at naysayers.
